METRO POLICE ARREST BURGLARY SUSPECTS
SAVANNAH, GA (December 5, 2009) Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department (SCMPD) arrested burglary suspect
Metro Police were dispatched just after 10:00 a.m. this morning to 100 blk. of Mills Run Dr. on a call of a Burglary in Progress.
Metro Officers quickly arrived on scene and made contact with the victim who advised them that the suspects were still in the house. The victim stated the suspects rung her doorbell and when she did not answer they kicked in the back door. The victim ran out of the house and called police.
Officers went to the rear of the residence and heard noises coming from the house and set up a perimeter. The suspects fled out the front door and officers gave chase, both suspects after a were taken into custody after a short foot pusuit
Jasper MUNGIN, 18, and El Jabar Antonio PARKER, 20, were both charged with Burglary and Obstruction of an Officer. Both suspects were later booked into Chatham County Detention Center and are expected to be arraigned on Monday.
