Metro Police Seeks Burglary, Shooting Suspects in Two Crimes
SAVANNAH, GA (December 1, 2009): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) seeks Lamond "Mond" Marquis COOPER , 17, who is suspected of committing a burglary in the 1400 Block of East 38th St. on Sept. 28th.
Cooper is described as 6’1 and weighs 180 lbs. He is known to frequent the area of SE 36th St.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest for burglary and he is considered armed and dangerous. He is also wanted in questioning for several armed robberies.
In a separate incident, SCMPD Officers are looking for a suspect in a shooting that occurred in September of this year. The victim was fishing at Daffin Park when he was approached by a suspect described as a black male in his early 20's, wearing dreadlocks. the suspect is approximately 5’8” tall and 150 lbs. The suspect was wearing a baseball cap and a white t-shirt and was in the possession of a black handgun. The suspect approached the victim and demanded money at gunpoint. The victim refused and the suspect shot him in the back.

Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash award.
