Metro Police Seeks Homicide Suspect

SAVANNAH, GA (November 28, 2009) Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCMPD) seeks Taron WILLIAMS in the shooting death of Ajene Kiambu FLANNINGS

SCMPD Officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the 500 block of Gwinnett St. last evening and found 29 year-old FLANNINGS suffering from a gunshot wound.

FLANNINGS was pronounced dead at the scene, a murder warrant has been issued for WILLIAMS who was last seen fleeing on foot towards Kayton Homes Housing Complex.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of WILLIAMS is urged to call Detectives at (912) 651-6728 or Crime Stoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637) and in the body type “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash award.
