Police Investigate Domestic Stabbing
SAVANNAH, GA (November 18, 2009): Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department (SCMPD) are investigating a stabbing, that has left a mother in jail and a son in the hospital.
Just before 10:30 p.m. yesterday Metro Police responded to the 800 block of Lynch St. on a report of a stabbing. Officers arrived and made contact with Victoria Denise LINDSAY and her juvenile son who was suffering from a stab wound to the back.
Detectives and forensics responded and interviewed LINDSAY on the scene; her 16 year-old son was later interviewed at the hospital. The stories from LINDSAY and her son are conflicting and it should be noted that police have been dispatched to the residence on several occasions; Police are still in the early stages of the investigation.
LINDSAY was arrested for Aggravated Assault and transported to CCDC, her son was transported to Memorial University Medical Center, treated and released.
