METRO POLICE SEEKS CHILD ABUSE SUSPECT
SAVANNAH, GA (November 4, 2009): Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department (SCPMD) has placed an alert for local Attorney Lawrence Edward Madison who is wanted on three counts of child molestation, two counts of sexual battery and one count of aggravated sexual battery.
Madison scheduled, with his attorney, to turn himself in to the Chatham County Jail at 5 p.m. today. Madison has failed to do so and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Madison may have access to funds to flee the area.
Madison is a white male, 5 feet 10 inches, 170lbs, bald and wears glasses.
Madison most recently had a residence on Tybee Island.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Madison is encouraged to CALL Metro Special Victims Unit at (912) 651-6742. Witnesses may also contact Crime Stoppers at 912-234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637) and in the body type “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash award.
